Going on a date as a young man can be a little
nerve-racking as it is, so when Brandon opened his car door for his date, she immediately accused him of being a male chauvinist! 

This was an unexpected reaction to be sure and no doubt put a damper on the rest of the evening. However, this event would later inspire a deeper conversation with his dad, Bartel.

The discussion centered around how differently that gesture could be received by various people depending on their culture, age, moral and religious values, political biases, and so much more.

This would be the genesis of what would eventually become Script My Toon®
